What company makes the dollar?

No. It’s not a typing mistake. A few time ago I found out that FED is not public. Instead, it’s a private banks cartel. That’s been quite a surprise for me, because here in Brazil, our Central Bank, the responsible for making our paper-coin is entirely public. It's a government bank. And people who work in it are public servers.
So, I could never imagine a “private” central bank.
But in the USA it is a private company! Someone owns it! The bank that makes the dollar BELONGS to someone! It is not a public bank!!!
It is the greatest juridical distortion ever! It is too much power to deliver in private hands. It's against the country's sovereignty!
Plato's allegory can be applied to almost every aspects of our perception. And when it comes to money, it's no different, once only a few can really see beyond the shadows...
"Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation, and I care not who makes its laws."
